Nassau County, NYC – Two high school boys lost their lives in a tragic accident caused by a wrong-way driver under the influence on North Broadway in Jericho.
The 34-year-old driver was reported driving southbound in the northbound lanes when he collided with an Alfa Romeo sedan.
The sedan was carrying four teenagers, the two in the backseat were the ones killed while the two others were hospitalized.
The driver was taken into custody and is facing legal proceedings, as it was discovered that he had a prior DWI just days before the accident.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
