Queens, NYC – A 20-year-old man died when he struck a tree after he changed lanes to avoid a crashed car in Grand Central Parkway at 111 Street.
According to authorities, the driver, who was operating a 2022 Hyundai SUV, had to change lanes to avoid a crashed car on the roadway but lost control and collided with a tree.
The impact was fatal, and the driver was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. However, the passenger in the vehicle is in stable condition.
