47-Year-Old Lyft Driver Dies in Queens Collision

Queens, NYC – A 47-year-old Lyft driver was killed when a 22-year-old driver of a 2014 Ford Explorer collided into his vehicle near the intersection of Fresh Pond Road and Eliot Avenue in Maspeth just before 4:00 a.m. on June 13. The victim was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The Ford operator was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
