5 NYPD Cops Struck by Alleged Drunk Driver on Staten Island

Staten Island, NY – An alleged 39-year-old drunk driver struck five NYPD police officers putting up barriers for the Memorial Day parade on Livermore and Forest Avenues at approximately 9:45 a.m. on May 30. Four of the injured cops were rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, while one refused medical attention. The New Brighton suspect was charged with DWI and reckless assault among others.
