Ossining, New York – A 50-year-old Ossining man was killed in a hit-and-run incident that involved a 37-year-old driver, who allegedly struck the pedestrian standing on the shoulder of Garden State Parkway, then abandoned his SUV and fled by foot after the incident. The victim was thrown onto the lanes of the parkway where he was run over by several passing vehicles. The patient was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of the emergency medical services personnel.
