6 Injured, Including Elderly Woman Waiting for a Bus, in Staten Island Multi-Vehicle Crash

Staten Island, NY – Six people were injured, including a 72-year-old woman who was waiting for a bus, in a multiple-vehicle crash on Broadway in West Brighton at around 11:15 p.m. on May 2. The accident unfolded when an NYPD SUV collided with a TLC livery cab, which hit a Lincoln before striking the elderly victim. Among the six patients were two cops, the cabbie, the Lincoln driver and passenger, who were rushed to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.
