61-Year-Old Bronx Man Dies After Clinging to his Life from Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash

Bronx, NY – A 61-year-old man died three months after clinging to his life from a hit-and-run motorcycle crash. The Bronx man was pronounced deceased on January 15 in St. Barnabas Hospital after struggling for his life from being struck by a motorcyclist who has not been caught. The unfortunate incident happened at around 9:10 p.m. on October 3 when a speeding Suzuki GSXR-600 motorcycle hit him while crossing W. Burnside Avenue in University Heights. The biker did not stop and left the victim with head and body injuries.

According to an NYPD spokesman, three pedestrians have been killed in The Bronx just this month. There were 98 pedestrians killed in 2020 compared to 124 the year before.
