Kassandra Polanco
Kassandra Polanco’s practice focuses primarily on Medical Malpractice, including matters involving nursing home and hospital negligence, misdiagnoses and/or delayed diagnoses of medical conditions, and injuries sustained during medical procedures. A portion of Kassandra’s practice also involves Labor Law, including claims against employers and landowners for workplace negligence.
Kassandra currently serves as a Board Member of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, an organization dedicated to promoting and fostering the advancement of the Long Island Hispanic legal profession and community as a whole.
Super Lawyers recognized Kassandra as a 2023 and 2024 New York Metro Rising Star. Kassandra is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County.
Kassandra received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, Kassandra served as the President of the Trial Advocacy and Practice Honor Society and President of the Women’s Bar Association. She was also an active member of Law Review, where she published Trimming the Fat: The GDPR as a Model for Cleaning Up Our Data Usage, in 2020.
Kassandra is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
