Corona, Queens, NY – Police reports say that a 53-year-old bicyclist (whose identity is withheld) was struck by a box truck near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Junction Boulevard in the Corona section of Queens, New York at about 7:30 in the morning of May 13th. The auto-bicycle collision left the man seriously injured and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, authorities said. Since the COVID-19 pandemic impacted NYC in March, this is the first pedestrian to be struck in more than a month.
