Car Plows Into Brooklyn Outdoor Dining Area, Injures One

Brooklyn, NY – At least one person was injured after a car smashes into a Brooklyn outdoor dining area around lunchtime on August 27. Police are searching for the missing driver who immediately fled the scene after the crash. The female victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Accidents involving expanded al fresco seating from the restaurant industry are recently increasing in number despite new rules and regulations set up in New York City regarding creation of partitions for dining areas in city streets.
