Brooklyn, NY – A 37-year-old motorcyclist died after being struck by an NYPD vehicle that was responding to a Brooklyn shooting at around 9:25 p.m. on July 25. The tragic crash took place near the intersection of Metropolitan and Driggs Avenues when the cops blasted through a red light to respond to a 911 call for a shooting – that turned out to be a false report – and critically hit the biker. The massive impact from being thrown to the pavement caused severe head trauma to the victim. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
