Bronx, NYC – A 33-year-old female driver and a 41-year-old male passenger were killed, two other occupants were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on the Cross Bronx Expressway early Saturday. The fatal crash unfolded when a speeding Mitsubishi Montero where the victims were in sideswiped another car while trying to avoid a tow truck, before colliding into a larger truck that broke down on the road side.
