Garbage Truck Strikes Car With Father and 2 Kids in Hudson Valley

New York – A 37-year-old father, driving a 2000 Honda car, and his two children ages 8 and 10, were hurt after a garbage truck struck their vehicle on West Market Street in Hudson Valley at around 8:10 a.m. on July 30. The 50-year-old driver of the sanitation truck failed to see the car and hit it as he turned in front of the vehicle. All victims were taken to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital for precautionary evaluation.
