Bronx, NY – While trying to cross a Bronx Street, a young girl was struck by a New York Police Department car heading east on Hunts Point Avenue just after 7 in the evening of June the 10th. Allegedly, the female victim stepped off a center traffic island when the police car swerved out of the way and accidentally knocked the girl to the ground, witnesses say. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the injured victim to Harlem Hospital.
