New York – A 22-year-old garbage collector died and another one was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street in Nanuet, Hudson Valley to collect trash barrels early Friday. Both victims were transported to Nyack Hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The suspect voluntarily surrendered a few days later.
