Jeep Driver Charged With DWI in Farmingville Crash that Seriously Injured Mother and 3 Daughters

Suffolk County, NY – A 31-year-old Farmingville mother and her three daughters, ages 4, 8 and 10, were seriously injured after a 2018 Jeep struck their vehicle at around 5:00 p.m. on September 25, 2020. Allegedly, the 36-year-old Shirley man was driving while intoxicated, when he crashed into the Honda automobile which broke down in the right lane of County Route 83. He was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI and other offenses. The patients were rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
