Minivan Strikes and Seriously Injures Sanitation Worker in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NYC – A sanitation worker was seriously injured while helping his truck-driving partner back up, when a minivan driver cut around another car and slammed into him, dragging him about 50 feet on Hope Street in Williamsburg at around 8:00 a.m. on April 10. The female driver fled the scene on foot, while one of her passengers tried to help the victim. The Bushwick man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment of injuries.
