NYPD Officer Seriously Injured After Being Struck by a Car in the Bronx

The Bronx, NY – While police officers responded to the looting and burglary reports in the area, an NYPD sergeant was run over by a black sedan which fled the scene near the intersection of Walton Avenue and East 107th Street in Mt. Eden section of the borough around 12:45 early morning of June 2. The victim is now in Lincoln Hospital for treatment of severe physical injuries sustained from the crash. Police continue their search for the suspect.
