Long Island, NY – One person was killed and multiple others injured when two boats collided off Long Island, New York. Investigation from the Coast Guard reports that one boat was zooming near Cow Meadow Park in Freeport just before 7 p.m. on August 2 and slammed into another boat. The impact of the collision split the other boat in half. Jet Skiers in the area were the first responders.
