One-Vehicle Crash in Queens Claims Life of Teenage Driver

Queens, NY – A one-vehicle crash in Glen Oaks claimed the life of a 16-year-old driver at around 2:50 p.m. on January 7. The tragic incident unfolded when the teenage driver lost control of his car and collided into a tree near the vicinity of 80th Street and 265th Avenue, a few blocks away from his home. First responders discovered the victim’s body ejected from the car, lying on the road unconscious and unresponsive. He was rushed to Long Island Medical Center, where he could not be saved.
