Passenger Dies, 2 Others Injured in Belt Parkway Collision

New York City – A 21-year-old female passenger died and two men were injured following a vehicle collision that occurred on the Belt Parkway at around 9:50 a.m. on July 3. The tragic crash was allegedly caused by a Chevy Red Trailblazer, where the victim was in, attempting to cut off a 2019 Ford Access-A-Ride van, but lost control and hit a guardrail. The Queens woman was ejected from the SUV and was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. The 60-year-old van driver and 20-year-old SUV operator suffered minor injuries.
