Pedestrian, 27, Fatally Struck by Jeep Driver, 37, in NY

New York – A 27-year-old female pedestrian crossing along Route 300 near Walmart and Applebee’s in Newburgh was fatally struck by a 37-year-old driver of a 2021 Jeep Renegade at around 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Campbell Hall woman was rushed to the hospital where she later died. The driver’s identity was not immediately released.
