North Bay Shore, Suffolk County – A pedestrian (whose name was not immediately disclosed) died when a 2003 Toyota Corolla struck him on Fifth Avenue near Claremont Avenue at around 3:10 a.m. on March 18. Suffolk County Police discovered the victim lifeless and pronounced him dead at the scene.
