Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Drunk Driver in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY – A 32-year-old female pedestrian was fatally struck, while crossing Graham Avenue and Broadway in Bushwick, by an allegedly 47-year-old drunk driver of a gray 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee at around 12:30 p.m. on February 26. First responders arrived at the scene with the victim unresponsive with severe body trauma. She was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where she could not be saved. The New Jersey man was arrested and charged with DWI and manslaughter.
