Pedestrian Fatally Struck by NYPD Van in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NYC – A 53-year-old male pedestrian standing in the center median of a thoroughfare in Crown Heights was fatally struck by a New York City Police Department (NYPD) van near Schenectady Avenue at around 8:00 p.m. Thursday. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital Center, but could not be saved.
