Two Residents Critically Injured from NYCHA Apartment Fire in East Harlem

Manhattan, NY – Two residents of a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) apartment in East Harlem were critically injured after it caught fire at around 1:28 p.m. on January 30. The Fire Department responded to the blaze after a call from the Clinton Houses at 1738 Lexington Avenue about a 16th-floor fire. Both patients were rushed to Harlem and Metropolitan Hospitals.
