Manhattan, NYC – A fast-moving blaze that occurred in an apartment in the Upper East Side killed a 94-year-old woman and injured a 3-month-old girl and a 32-year-old woman on March 16. The fire broke out at around 1:30 a.m. in the elderly woman’s residence located on the third floor of a six-story building on East 78th Street near Second Avenue. The victims were transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell.
