Woman Outside Disabled Car Struck and Killed on Long Island Expressway

Long Island, NYC – An unidentified woman standing outside a disabled car was struck and killed on the Long Island Expressway in Yaphank at around 3:00 a.m. on April 24. According to investigation, a 2015 Chrysler 300 travelling eastbound of Exit 66 hit the victim standing outside a still 2012 Nissan Altima. She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Chrysler occupants were uninjured.
