10-Year-Old Kid Dies, 2 injured in a collision at a car wash in Queens

Queens, NYC – A tragic incident occurred in Queens, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old child and injuring two individuals. The crash happened at a car wash on Beach Channel Drive near Dix Avenue in Far Rockaway. The accident was caused by a car that veered off the road and crashed into the car wash. The vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old woman, had just exited a grocery store parking lot and was reportedly traveling at high speed when it hit several people on the sidewalk. Eyewitnesses at the grocery store reported that the driver had been shopping there prior to the crash. The car was still lodged in the building several hours after the incident.
