14 People Injured in Stolen SUV and MTA Bus Collision in Canarsie

Brooklyn, NY – A total of 14 people were injured from a chain-reaction crash involving a stolen Toyota Highlander and an MTA bus in Canarsie, Brooklyn. As police officers tried to pull over the stolen vehicle, the SUV driver zoomed and slammed into a B103 bus at the intersection of East 87th Street and Avenue M around 6:00 Thursday night. Due to the impact of the collision, the MTA bus struck a black BMW SUV. The three men inside the stolen SUV were placed in custody with pending charges.
