Nassau County, NY – A Baldwin woman, 26, died in a tubing accident in Parsonage Cove in Oceanside, New York last Sunday, June 21. This incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. when the inner tube that the victim was riding on towed behind a powerboat, slammed into a bulkhead at Middle Bay Country Club, Nassau County. The injured woman sustained severe head and chest trauma and was rushed to an area hospital; however, she could not be saved. Investigation is still ongoing.
