7-Year-Old Girl Fatally Struck by Armored Truck While Riding her Scooter

Brooklyn, NY – A 7-year-old girl riding her scooter in Brooklyn was fatally struck by an armored truck at approximately 4:00 p.m. on September 28. The NYPD is investigating the cause of the crash that happened at the intersection of Bay 23rd Street and Bath Avenue in Bath Beach. The victim was transported to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
