75-Year-Old Driver Dies After Striking Two Vehicles in Selden

Suffolk County, NY – At around 11:30 a.m. on December 7, a 75-year-old man died as his van jumped the curb on Route 25 near the North Bicycle Path in Selden and struck a pickup truck and a parked vehicle. Police authorities say the elderly driver may have suffered a medical episode, causing the crash. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
