8 Injured as MTA Bus Dangles Off a Bronx Overpass

Bronx, NY – At least eight people were hurt, including one seriously injured, after an MTA Bx35 bus lost control and dangled precariously off a Bronx overpass at around 11:10 p.m. on January 14. The horrific crash occurred when the bus driver, who was trying to turn left off University Avenue onto a ramp to the Washington Bridge, veered off track causing the vehicle to crash off the elevated road. Investigation on the cause of the crash is underway.
