Cyclist, 51, in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Car in Smithtown

Smithtown, NY – A 51-year-old bicyclist was critically injured after a Subaru driver, 25, struck her in Smithtown, New York. The female cyclist was heading north on Edgewood Avenue, east of Landing Avenue, when she was hit by a northbound 2019 Subaru at around 8:53 a.m. on August 26. The victim was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Subaru operator, on the other hand, was uninjured.
