Driver with Suspended License Injures Passenger in Bronx Crash

The Bronx, NY – According to NYPD investigation, a female passenger was injured in a car crash that involved a 2019 Subaru that overturned at the intersection of 237 West Fordham Road and Hampden Place at approximately 2:00 p.m. on July 8, 2020. Allegedly, police authorities found a bottle of alcohol inside the vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Manhattan driver, who exhibited the behavior of an intoxicated person. He was later criminally charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in the first degree and driving with a suspended license in the second degree. Both patients were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital for treatment of injuries.
