Elderly Pedestrian in Critical Condition Following a Citi Bike Van Crash in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY – A 72-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a Citi Bike van at around 6:00 a.m. while trying to cross Dekalb Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn on October 19. The elderly woman was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition. The 21-year-old driver of the van stayed on the scene while investigation was conducted by the police authorities.
