Yamaha R3 Sports Bike and Nissan Rogue Collision Claims the Life of 20-Year-Old Motorcyclist in Queens

Queens, NY – A motorcycle and SUV collision claimed the life of a 20-year-old motorcyclist at approximately 6:25 a.m. on October 5. The biker was riding a Yamaha R3 sports bike headed south on Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach when he crashed into a 2020 Nissan Rogue turning left onto the on-ramp for the Belt Parkway. The motorcyclist was taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment of serious injuries including severe head trauma, but he could not be saved. The 31-year-old SUV driver, however, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
