Long Island, NY – A 48-year-old female pedestrian was fatally struck by a 26-year-old driver of a 2009 Honda Civic at around 12:30 a.m. on December 17 in Long Island. According to Suffolk County police, the Holtsville woman was walking in the middle of Brookhaven Avenue near Station Road in Bellport when the car plowed into her. The patient was pronounced dead at the scene.
