Six Injured as 52-Year-Old Female Driver Plows Into Protesters in Manhattan

Manhattan, NY – Six people were injured after a 52-year-old woman plowed into a group of protesters in Manhattan at around 4:00 p.m. on December 11. A crowd was marching on Third Avenue in support of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees who are on a hunger strike. The suspect, a Queens woman, was charged with reckless endangerment after striking pedestrians and bicyclists and speeding off into the distance. All patients were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
