Brooklyn, NYC – A New York Police Department (NYPD) officer was struck and injured during a vehicle stop by a hit-and-run driver near East 83rd Street and Farragut Road in Canarsie at around 6:30 Wednesday night. The suspects, two teenagers inside the vehicle, fled the scene on foot. The cop was rush to Kings County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
