NYPD Officer, 34, Dies After a Motorcycle Crash in Queens

While on his way to work where he was assigned to the COVID-19 Response Team, a 34-year-old NYPD cop (whose name has not been confirmed by officials) driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle was rear-ended by a 2014 BMW car on the northbound Cross Island Parkway near Bell Boulevard in Queens at about 5:30 p.m. on April the 25th. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but couldn’t be saved. The driver of the BMW remained at the scene.
