Pedestrian at Bus Stop Dies After Car Strikes and Pins Him to a Building

Brooklyn, NY – A 47-year-old pedestrian waiting at Brooklyn bus stop was killed after a car wash employee lost control of a Jeep Liberty Commander SUV and pinned him to a furniture building along Atlantic Avenue and Milford Street in East New York at about 4:30 p.m. Friday. According to the owner of the SUV, the vehicle has a Chrysler Hemi engine which provides more power than a conventional engine. The Queens man was pronounced dead at the scene.
