Nassau County, NYC – A 60-year-old man walking across Hempstead Turnpike was hit by a 2013 Nissan Altima in Levittown.
The driver of the Nissan Altima was a 32-year-old man who cooperated with authorities and was not injured.
The victim suffered from chest and head injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident is currently under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
