Police in Search for Bronx Hit-and-Run Suspect that Killed 56-Year-Old Motorist

The Bronx, NY – Police authorities conduct a search for the missing suspect of a hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 56-year-old motorist in Hunts Point, The Bronx Tuesday night. The fatal crash involved a speeding 2012 Mercedes Benz S550 driver who slammed into a 2005 Chrysler Suburban, which flew into an unoccupied parked vehicle on Manida Street at approximately 7:45 p.m. The suspect and his passenger abandoned their wrecked vehicle and jumped into another car that stopped to pick them up at the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, but was pronounced deceased.
