Scooter Driver Dies as He Crashes Into Parked Car in the Bronx

Bronx, NYC – A 29-year-old scooter driver was pronounced dead after his vehicle crashed into an unoccupied parked 2020 Honda Accord along Southern Boulevard next to the New York Botanical Garden in Rose Hill at approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The victim was a couple of blocks away from his Prospect Avenue apartment when the accident took place. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital but could not be saved.
