Senior Pedestrian Killed in Manhattan Hit-and-Run

Manhattan, NYC – A 92-year-old male pedestrian, attempting to cross East 40th Street, was killed when an unidentified driver of a dark-colored vehicle struck him and took off at the intersection of 1st Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. The senior was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals Bellevue with head and body trauma, but could not be saved.
