Teen Driver Dies and Passenger Clings to her Life in Bronx Motorcycle Crash

Bronx, NY – An 18-year-old motorcyclist died and the 20-year-old female backrider was left in critical condition after their ride crashed into the back of an unoccupied 2003 Sterling flatbed tow truck double-parking on Hunts Point Avenue at around 9:15 p.m. on September 21. Due to the impact of the collision, both motorcycle occupants were thrown off from the vehicle and hit their helmetless heads on the ground. Both female patients were transported to Lincoln Medical Center, where the motorist was pronounced dead and her passenger clinging to her life.
