Two Killed Including Off-Duty Sheriff’s Deputy in Two-Vehicle Collision in Yorktown

Yorktown, NY – A 50-year-old Sheriff’s Deputy and a 56-year-old female driver were killed in a head-on collision at around 6:00 p.m. on October 25 on Route 65N in Mohegan Lake near the Westchester County borderline. Both patients are Mahopac residents. The off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female victim was rushed to Westchester County Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
