Manhattan, NY – A Valley Stream man, who was a back seat passenger of a 2019 Honda Accord that was plowed by a 2015 Mercedes Benz driver, died in a tragic hit-and-run incident at 145th Street in Hamilton Heights around 4:50 a.m. Saturday. The Mercedes operator traveling north on Broadway, ran a red light, slammed into the Honda vehicle, and eventually fled the scene on foot. Five people in the Honda car sustained serious physical injuries and were rushed to an area hospital. However, the 22-year-old victim could not be saved. Police are still conducting search and investigation for the missing suspect.
